Let Your Light Shine
It shouldn't be surprising that
those who devote their lives "to the teaching of the
Apostles," and to "meditating on the Law of the Lord
day and night," should bear fruit in kind, "30... 60...
100-fold." When seed "falls on good soil," Jesus teaches, it
"bears fruit." "By this is my Father glorified, that you bear
much fruit and become my disciples." (Jn15:8) Further, "Every
good tree bears good fruit." (Mt7:17)
Much of our fruit remains
hidden until Judgment, but not all of it should! For we read:
"No one who lights a lamp hides it away or places it under a
bushel basket, but on a lampstand so that those who enter
might see the light." (Lk11:33) Further: "Let your light
shine before others, that they may see your good works and
glorify our Father in Heaven." We consider "our fruits"
under 4 headings:
Life Witness,
Service,
Music,
Writings.
