Our photography business was born "naturally" in 1967, a direct outgrowth of our interest in collecting a picture-history of St. Benedict's Farm. We also wanted to learn to use the camera as a teaching and artistic tool. While we learned much by experience, we also enrolled in a three-year photography correspondence course.
As our business grew, we built a studio, enabling us to do many kinds of photo work right here at home: copying, seniors, engagement, family, and commercial (food) work. We process all of our own work, giving us the greatest possible control over the final product. Each picture is hand printed for maximum quality.
Weddings have become specialty. While not ignoring
the standard poses, we use a journalistic approach,
trying to "tell the story" of each event. We work
within a 50-mile radius of our home in the Northeast
corner of Gonzales County.
