Maeker's Sausage Company has remained one of the best kept secrets in Texas (until now!).  Try some of our slow hickory smoked sausages, and you will soon understand why folks drive from all corners of Texas, and occasionally America,  to take home ice chests full of our delicious  "South Texas Treasures."

Over the years, there have been many changes at Maeker's Sausage Company.  We have outgrown two facilities, invited a few more employees, increased our production as well as product line, and offered our products to major Texas grocery stores.  However, one thing will never change.  Our family recipe, nearly 100 years old has, and will continue to remain the same.  This is our  family promise.  We still use only the finest cuts of meat and spices available.  We are so selective about the ingredients that we use in our products that even the black pepper must be certified, irradiated bacteria free black pepper grind number 14.  Our sausage casings must be certified North American, hand pulled 35/38 whisker  free.  Now that may seem Greek to most folks, but for us it's simply our standard, which has always been "the best". 

There are hundreds of different types of smoked sausages on the market today.  But if you're looking for that simple wholesome country flavor, or something similar to what your parents, or grandparents might have made on the farm, you've come to the right place.
