This is Who We Are.
We are the largest service organization in the world.
Our sole purpose is to provide community service in our own communities. We are not a political, or a religious,
organization. We have no agenda beyond serving our community. Our motto is "We Serve" and it embodies all
that we do.
We are men and women, just like you, with an interest in volunteering to make our community better for everyone.
100% of the money raised by Lions Clubs is spent on community service. All public money stays in the public. The
administrative expenses of all Lions Clubs are covered by member dues, not by public fundraising.
If you are an adult, of good character, and have a passion for volunteerism, come on board. We have a yellow vest
waiting for you. To become a member just visit a Lions Club meeting, tell us you are interested in becoming a Lion,
and we will take it from there. The Gonzales Noon Lions meet every Monday at noon on the third floor of the
Randle-Rather building. The Gonzales Breakfast Lions meet on the first and third Thursdays of every month at 6:45
a.m. at the Cow Palace restaurant.
