To Elect
Officers Tonight
All men interested in organization of a Lion’s Club here are urged to attend the meeting called
for 8 o-clock tonight in the Alcalde Hotel. At this time officers for the new club will be elected.
Lions Clubs were started internationally in 1917 as the outgrowth of a plan originated in 1914
for uniting on the basis of unselfish service business men’s clubs in the United States which had
no other affiliation. The clubs are non-political and non-sectarian civic organizations composed
of representative business and professional men interested in the development of their community.
All men interested in becoming members of a Lion’s Club are urged to attend the meeting tonight.
