And also remind everyone that though school maybe coming to an end the fun at church is just beginning. There are some exciting activities and events going on in the next couple of months. Here is what you can look forward to: May 3 Confirmation Retreat 9 a.m. -2 p.m. 4 Confirmation Sunday Cross Training Pool Party @ Meredith’s 5 p.m. 7 Vertical Event 6:30 p.m. 11 No Cross Training- Happy Mother’s Day 14 Last Vertical Event of the Year 6:30 p.m. 18 Cross Training- Kite Day and Games @ Hisey’s Barn 5-7 p.m. 21 Mission Trip Meetings Jr. High @ 6p.m. Sr. High @ 6:30 p.m. 25 Senior Recognition Sunday Lunch Noon 25 Cross Training- Paintball 2 p.m. 30 Graduation June 1-5 Jr. High Mission Trip to Beaumont, TX 1 No Cross Training Cross Training- Pool Party 5-7 p.m. 15-21 Sr. High Mission Trip UM ARMY to Alice, Texas 22 Cross Training- Pool Party 5-7 p.m. 29 Cross Training- Pool Party 5-7 p.m. Our Jr. High and Sr. High Mission Trips to Beaumont, Texas and Alice, Texas are a month away. There will be a mandatory meeting for all participants on Wednesday, May 21 at 6 p.m. for the Jr. High trip and 6:30 p.m. for the Sr. High trip in the Church Office. At this meeting we will complete the Medical Release forms and answer any questions you might have about the trip! Registration is now open for our Youth Camping/Rock climbing Trip! This trip will be a spiritual trip filled with high adventure. We will be leaving on Wednesday July, 30 for three days and two nights of camping, rock climbing, repelling, swimming and more at Camp Eagle just outside of Rocksprings, Texas. We will return in the evening of Saturday, August, 2nd. The cost of the trip is $175 per person. You can pick up a registration form from Joel or the church office!
