Day #7, 147 miles, Saturday 7/24/04
We were up at 6 am and dressed by 7 am.  I went to the motel office to use their pay phone since my cell phone wouldn't work in the area.  I planned to try to reach Tanna.  We were supposed to meet Tanna, Allen and their friends for the Montana Hope Project Ride.  I couldn't reach her.  We realized that some more exhaust bolts had vibrated loose, so we went shopping for bolts.  We then washed our bike and ate some breakfast.  Then we rode the 70  miles to Ennis, MT.  It was a beautiful ride!
When we arrived in Ennis, we parked across from the service station to wait for Tanna and the rest of the group.  While waiting we took pictures.

I finally connected with a tower with my cell phone and called Tanna.  She and Allen had a flat tire and were on their way to get it repaired.  She said her friends would pick us up and she and Allen would catch up with us later.
In a short time the group of riders were there to meet us.  There were introductions all around and then we left to ride to West Yellowstone, hopefully to get there in time for the parade.
We arrived just in time to see the parade come by and then to join them in the back, for the parade to the Holiday Inn Conference Center for the banquet.

Tanna & Allen's friends
Shortly after we arrived at the banquet hall, Tanna and Allen showed up.  The banquet was very nice - good food, good program!
We even received a trophy for the bikers traveling the longest distance!

After the banquet we walked around West Yellowstone, had a few drinks, laughed and talked!  We got back to our rooms very late and went right to sleep.
