On Thursday morning the friendly people at the Honda Dealership in Roswell put a new tire and back brake pads on our bike.  And after posing with their resident alien in the front lobby, we were on our way to Texas!!!
After experiencing an awesome trip through Arizona and New Mexico, we were ready to see Texas again!
We stopped at the City Cafe in Sterling City, TX for a cup of coffee, but ended up having dinner there.  Jesse's cheeseburger and my ham sandwich were as close to homemade as you can get!    This cafe is known for serving the largest pancakes in Texas!  They also have a "Bikers Welcome" sign on the front window.  We met the owner (and cook) who drives the Harley on the right side of the photo.
We rode on to San Angelo to spend the night.
A total of 345 miles for Thursday.
We were up and on our way early Friday morning.  Soon we were on the familiar ground of Fredricksburg, TX.  We stopped by Ed and Shelba's house for a short visit.  I wish we would have taken photos!!!
A few miles down the road we stopped at one of our favorite spots...Luckenbach, TX.
We got a cold drink and sat out behind the General Store where some of the locals were pickin' and singin'.
Our next stop was in Gruene, TX, another of our favorite places.  We sat out on the deck of a local business and enjoyed a cold drink and watched others having fun on the rapids.

After a brief stop at 35N Honda in New Braunfels, we rode the 45 miles to home.
We were tired and sunburned, but happy and full of wonderful memories of a fantastic vacation!
Total miles on Friday was 280.
